Today, more than seven (7) million smallholders around the world make a living from oil palm. In Malaysia and Indonesia alone, smallholdings represent approximately 40% of the total area for oil palm production. As of June 2026, approximately 65,882 Independent Smallholders are certified according to the RSPO Standards and many are working towards certification. Market demand remain a crucial incentive to accelerate sustainable smallholder cultivation.

This event aims to felicitate the key industry leaders who have invested in long term smallholder projects and supported smallholder certification with the purchase of RSPO Credits. In addition, the event offers an excellent opportunity to interact and engage with independent smallholders from different parts of the world.
