Today, more than seven (7) million smallholders around the world make a living from cultivating oil palm. In Malaysia and Indonesia alone, smallholdings represent approximately 40% of the total area for oil palm production. As of June 2026, approximately 65,882 Independent Smallholders (ISH) are certified against the RSPO Standards. Market demand remains a crucial incentive to accelerate smallholder cultivation and inclusion in the global sustainable supply chain.
This event brings together key industry leaders who have invested in long-term ISH initiatives and supported smallholder certification through the purchase of RSPO Credits. A by-invite only event, it offers an excellent opportunity for potential IS-Credit buyers to engage with ISH from different parts of the world.
