Mohd Haris Mohd Arshad is President and Group Chief Executive Officer of SD Guthrie Berhad, with over three decades of leadership experience across the oils and fats value chain. He previously held senior roles at Cargill, Nestlé and Unilever, leading global procurement, commodity trading and price risk strategy across Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Known for his strategic vision and deep operational expertise, Haris is driving Guthrie’s transformation, innovation, sustainability and operational excellence, while expanding the Group beyond its traditional plantation roots into industrial development and renewable energy.

A prominent voice in Malaysia’s palm oil industry, he serves as Chairman of the Malaysian Palm Oil Association (MPOA) and the Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) Board, and as a Board Trustee of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC).

Kamal Seth is the Global Palm Oil Director at WWF, with over 15 years of experience in market transformation, sustainable supply chains, regenerative agriculture, green finance, policy advocacy, and corporate engagement related to forest-risk commodities.

Specialising in sustainable palm oil and food systems transformation, he has worked with companies, financial institutions, governments, civil society organisations, and sustainability standards to advance deforestation- and conversion-free supply chains and improve smallholder livelihoods.

Known for his leadership in multi-stakeholder collaboration, Kamal is passionate about nature-positive development, conservation finance, and sustainable commodity markets.

With executive training in Systems Thinking from MIT and biodiversity governance from the University of Cambridge, Kamal has contributed to global platforms including the RSPO, World Economic Forum, UNDP, OECD-FAO, and COP26 FACT Dialogue, establishing himself as a respected thought leader in sustainable supply chains.

Caroline Westerik-Sikking is an experienced sustainability leader with expertise in responsible sourcing, sustainable supply chains, and integrating sustainability into core business strategy. Since 2011, she has focused on advancing responsible raw material value chains across multiple sectors.

Joining AAK in 2017, she has led the company’s global sustainable palm strategy. She now oversees AAK’s broader global sustainability and sustainable sourcing strategies, driving programmes that embed environmental and social responsibility across the organisation, cross functional and cross regional.

Caroline has been involved in RSPO since the early days and contributed to the different working groups Communications & Claims and Trade & Traceabiity. Since joining AAK in 2017, she served the RSPO Board as an Alternate and Substantive Member.

Having worked across the palm oil value chain provides first-hand insight into both the opportunities and challenges the sector faces. Connecting that with different stakeholder groups, fostering dialogue and consensus among companies, NGOs, industry partners, and other stakeholders supports her to impact RSPO's continued evolution.

Caroline’s earlier career includes extensive experience in international B2B marketing and sales, giving her a strong commercial understanding that complements her sustainability leadership. She holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Andika Putraditama has spent more than 17 years working at the intersection of public policy, climate action, forest conservation, sustainable finance, and commodity supply chains across Southeast Asia.

He currently serves as Head of Nature & Forest Commodities Sustainability at Unilever, helping advance the company's forest and climate ambitions through responsible palm oil sourcing, supply chain decarbonization, and regulatory compliance, while executing forest and nature impact programmes such as landscape conservation and restoration, and initiatives supporting smallholder resilience and inclusion.

Prior to joining Unilever, Andika was Director of Rimba Collective at Lestari Capital, where he led and scaled a corporate-backed forest conservation financing initiative that mobilised long-term private sector financing to support the protection and restoration of half a million hectares of tropical forests, through partnerships with leading global consumer goods companies.

Andika began his career in 2009 within Indonesia's parliament, providing policy analysis and legislative support to the Deputy Speaker's office, including management of the Indonesia–United States caucus. He then spent a decade at WRI Indonesia, where he led private sector and government outreach for programmes redirecting palm oil expansion towards non-forested, low-carbon lands to help reduce deforestation. During this period, he was actively engaged with RSPO, participating in the Shared Responsibility Working Group and serving as an observer to the Jurisdictional Certification Working Group. His portfolio later expanded to land-use policy and geospatial data transparency, including contributing to the development of forest and supply chain monitoring tools such as Global Forest Watch, and co-managing the Accountability Framework Initiative Southeast Asia secretariat in his final years at WRI.

Beyond his executive roles, Andika was a member of the SBTi Technical Advisory Group and the SBTi Beyond Value Chain Mitigation (BVCM) Expert Advisory Group. He holds an MSc in Forestry from Northern Arizona University, where he was a USAID/CIFOR Fellowship recipient, and a BA in International Relations from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan. He is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Tommy Sekiguchi is an ESG and Sustainability Business Development Lead in Mitsui’s Food Business Unit, with over 20 years of experience in food commodities, investments and corporate strategy.

His work focuses on sustainable palm oil, low-GHG and resilient supply chains, and responsible sourcing. Through collaborative initiatives across Southeast Asia, including smallholder inclusion and landscape approaches, he works to create value for both people and nature.

As a Visiting Researcher at the Center for Global Commons at The University of Tokyo,Tommy explores a value chain approach to food system transformation, connecting sustainable sourcing in producing regions with ethical consumption in consumer markets. His research emphasises the role of ecosystem orchestration and collective action in aligning stakeholders across the value chain.

In September 2026, Tommy contributed to ESG in the Age of AI as one of 18 global experts invited to contribute to the book. He co-authored a chapter exploring how Collective Action Infrastructure, Ecosystem Orchestration and Operational Excellence can accelerate sustainability implementation and system-level transformation.

Mr Chandran is an Hon. Member & Advisor to RSPO, and  Chairman of IRGA Group, with over 60 years of experience in the plantation and crop commodity sector.

He retired in 1995 as Director and Head of Plantations of a Franco-Belgian multinational plantation company, SOCFIN after 33 years of service. From 1999 to 2005, he served as the Founding CEO of the Malaysian Palm Oil Association (MPOA), contributing significantly to industry development and policy engagement.

A strong advocate of sustainable palm oil, he was among the initiators and founders of the RSPO in 2003. He served as its inaugural Chairman and subsequently as Vice-President of the Board during the 2004/2005 term. He continues his association with RSPO as an Advisor.

Mr Chandran holds a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Adelaide and is a respected industry thought leader, having contributed to numerous publications and spoken at leading plantation conferences.

Anne Rosenbarger is the Global Engagement Manager for Supply Chains at the World Resources Institute (WRI), where she works at the intersection of global agricultural supply chains, land use, nature and climate. She has nearly two decades of experience advancing sustainable and inclusive approaches to commodity production and sourcing.

Her work focuses on bringing together companies, governments and civil society to translate research, data and technology into practical strategies and collective action on supply-chain sustainability, including deforestation and conversion, traceability, smallholder inclusion and landscape approaches.

Anne has served on the RSPO Board of Governors since 2015 and as Co-Chair since 2018, contributing to the organisation’s strategic direction and governance. She also serves on and has previously chaired RSPO committees and working groups, including the Standards Standing Committee, Biodiversity and High Conservation Value Working Group, and Compensation Task Force.

Felipe Guerrero is the Executive Vice President at DAABON, with over 15 years of experience in sustainable agribusiness and palm oil.

Specialising in sustainability strategy, traceability and climate innovation, he has worked with agricultural supply chains and global markets to scale certified production, digital monitoring, decarbonisation and regenerative practices.

With a background in Environmental Engineering, a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and an MBA, Felipe has been recognised for his leadership in responsible sourcing and multi-stakeholder engagement. He is passionate about planetary health and resilient food systems, and is known for translating sustainability commitments into operational and commercial results.

Felipe has also played a significant role in the development of RSPO in Latin America, including establishing its regional office in 2011, supporting the creation of the Palm Oil Innovation Group and helping certify the first company in the region. Through this work, he has established himself as a thought leader in sustainable palm oil.

Dr. Marco Albani is the co-founder and co-CEO of Chloris Geospatial, an innovative, venture-backed company leveraging space-based remote sensing and machine learning to map and measure natural capital. Previously, Marco served as the inaugural Director of the Tropical Forest Alliance at the World Economic Forum and as a Senior Expert within McKinsey & Co.’s sustainability practice.

A forester by training, Dr. Albani earned his Ph.D. in Forest Sciences from the University of British Columbia and conducted research at Harvard University. He has authored peer-reviewed research on forest ecology as well as influential reports for global institutions, providing thought leadership on nature-related economic risks, deforestation and corporate sustainability.

Marieke Leegwater is a Senior Policy Advisor at Solidaridad, with over 25 years of experience in the palm oil industry.
Specialising in sustainable value chains, she has worked with a wide range of supply chain partners to build partnerships that drive shared progress.

With insight into both the upstream and downstream aspects of palm oil value chains, Marieke is passionate about contributing to solutions that work for all partners across the value chain.
With a background in Law, Marieke played a key role in establishing the Dutch Alliance for Sustainable Palm Oil in 2012. She has also contributed to the RSPO Standing Committee on Smallholders and various groups working on smallholder inclusivity within RSPO, establishing herself as a thought leader in smallholder-inclusive solutions.

Erin Sweeney is a Senior Manager for Sustainable Agriculture at PepsiCo, with over 14 years of experience in food and agriculture sustainability.

Specialising in forest-risk mitigation and forest-positive strategies across palm oil, soy and fibre packaging supply chains, she has been with PepsiCo for almost two years.

With a background in food systems transformation and public policy, Erin is passionate about achieving deforestation- and conversion-free supply chains and advancing efforts to protect and restore natural forests and ecosystems.

She has contributed to global sustainability initiatives through her previous role with Grow Asia, a World Economic Forum partnership in Singapore, as well as research in India and Jamaica funded by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). She has also contributed to industry coalitions and collaborative publications.

Andiko, S.H., M.H. is a Sustainability and Human Rights Lawyer at AsM Law Office, with more than 25 years of experience working on legal, agrarian, natural resource, environmental, and human rights issues in Indonesia.

Specialising in Business and Human Rights, Indigenous Peoples’ rights, land and natural resource governance, conflict resolution, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), he has worked with businesses, governments, international development agencies, civil society organisations, and communities to promote responsible investment, human rights, and sustainable natural resource governance.

Known for his expertise in conflict resolution and sustainability law, Andiko is passionate about advancing human rights, Indigenous Peoples’ rights, Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC), and responsible business practices.

He holds a Bachelor of Law from Universitas Andalas and a Master of Law from Universitas Indonesia. He has also contributed to publications and international forums on agrarian conflict, Indigenous Peoples’ rights, palm oil, land rights, and natural resource governance.

Renaka Ramachandran is Chief Business Officer of SD Guthrie Berhad, bringing more than 30 years of experience in finance, business transformation, sustainability, and strategic growth.

She previously served as the Group’s Chief Financial Officer for more than 15 years, until 30 April 2026. During her tenure, she led critical transformation initiatives, including efforts to strengthen worker rights, remediation, and grievance mechanisms, contributing to the lifting of the US Customs and Border Protection Withhold Release Order in 2023.

During this period, SD Guthrie issued Malaysia’s largest Sustainability-Linked Sukuk, valued at RM2.1 billion, and achieved a record net profit of RM2.5 billion in 2025.

Today, Renaka leads SD Guthrie’s growth in industrial development and renewable energy, supporting the Group’s evolution from its plantation roots into a diversified, sustainability-driven enterprise. She also co-chairs the RSPO Human Rights Working Group.

Dr Robert Nasi is the Director of Science of Landscape Alliance and has been the Director General of the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) since 2017. He steered the organisation’s three-year merger process with the International Centre for Research on Agroforestry (ICRAF) and leads their combined eff orts through Landscape Alliance to harness the power of trees, forests and agroforestry landscapes to address pressing global challenges.

Dr Nasi has spent more than 40 years studying tropical forestry, ecology and natural-resource management, conducting research across Africa, Asia and the Pacific.

He specialises in managing forests, advocating for integrating social and biological science for better forest management, more sustainable livelihoods, and improved forest policies.

His research interests include the sustainable use of forest products, and multiple-use tropical forest management spanning ecology, botany, biometrics and silviculture.

He holds a PhD in biological sciences from the University of Paris-Sud and has written or co-written more than 300 papers.

Nadine is the Global Responsible Sourcing Lead at Nestlé, where she develops and drives the company’s palm oil strategy, focusing on areas such as traceability, human rights due diligence, smallholder inclusion and regenerative agriculture, among others. She works closely with the internal procurement team, as well as externally with suppliers, NGOs and other brands, to foster collective action across the industry.

In her previous roles, Nadine collaborated with project developers to implement high-quality nature-based removal projects within the Nestlé supply chain, supporting the company’s ambition to reach net zero by 2050. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy and previously worked for a nature-based project implementer, focusing primarily on the coffee and cocoa supply chains.

Lauren Shields is Lead, Sustainability Initiatives at the OECD Centre for Responsible Business Conduct, with over 15 years of experience advancing responsible business conduct and sustainable supply chains.

She leads the OECD’s work on sustainability initiatives, helping strengthen their effectiveness in supporting risk-based due diligence. She currently oversees the development of the OECD Fitness Framework for sustainability initiatives.

Prior to joining the OECD, Lauren was a Director at EY in Paris, where she helped build the firm’s sustainable supply chain practice in Europe and advised companies on human rights. She previously led programming for BSR’s HERproject, a corporate initiative promoting gender equality in global supply chains. Lauren holds degrees from Sciences Po and Tufts University.

Hu Wenjuan is Vice Editor-in-Chief at China Sustainability Tribune, with over 10 years of experience in sustainable development communication.

Specialising in sustainable consumption and production communication, she has worked with L’Oréal, VISA and relevant government sectors to conduct research and develop communications on sustainable production and consumption in the cosmetics industry, as well as sustainable tourism.

She has also contributed to the Global Sustainable Consumption Initiative and GoldenKey-SDG Solutions, establishing herself as a thought leader in the field.

Nadine Zamira Syarief is Senior Vice President, Sustainability at Danantara Indonesia, with 18 years of experience in sustainability, corporate strategy, and responsible supply chains.

Her work in sustainability spans social entrepreneurship, the United Nations, global NGOs, the private sector, and now sovereign finance. Her palm oil experience includes supporting UNDP’s Sustainable Palm Oil Initiative and leading Southeast Asian engagement for the Accountability Framework initiative, advancing deforestation-free agricultural and forestry supply chains. At Danantara, Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund, she is building the architecture to embed sustainability into investment decisions, risk management, capital mobilisation, and portfolio stewardship.

She is passionate about taking a systems approach to transformation - bridging policy, business strategy, implementation, and the human dimensions of change to advance a nature-positive economy. She holds a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University and has contributed to palm oil research and publications with IUCN and in Nature Plants. A lifelong nature enthusiast, she believes in the power of healthy ecosystems as an essential infrastructure for climate mitigation, adaptation, and long-term resilience.

Rikke Netterstrom is an Executive Director at Helikonia, with over 25 years of experience in sustainability strategy and policy.

Specialising in ESG disclosure, she has worked with leading organisations across the palm oil supply chain to enhance sustainability performance, transparency and accountability.

Known for strengthening dialogue across stakeholder groups, Rikke is passionate about developing collaborative solutions to complex business issues.

With a background in investment, retail and consultancy, she has been recognised for her role in advancing multistakeholder governance and sustainability reporting in the palm oil sector.

She has also contributed to the early development of the RSPO as a Board member and Interim Secretary General, and has led the secretariats of the HCSA, POIG and POCG.

Julian leads the Retailers’ Palm Oil Group, with over 30 years of experience in retail and more than 20 years specialising in sustainability.

Specialising in ESG, he has worked with retailers and global brands to support their transition to more sustainable business models, including strategy development, implementation, colleague engagement and sustainable commodities.

Known for his pragmatic approach, Julian is passionate about leveraging the reach of large businesses to drive sustainability, particularly for customers on lower incomes.

With a background in retail and consultancy, he is recognised globally as a sustainability leader and has served on the RSPO Board of Governors for over six years. He has also contributed to sustainable solutions for other commodities, including soy, wood and pulp.

Cania Citta is the Co-founder of Malaka, an educational media platform with a combined social media following of over 2 million people.

With a mission to nurture science and reason, she actively produces content on scientific thinking, rational decision-making, and basic socio-political literacy for the general public, particularly Indonesian youth.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Universitas Indonesia and actively shares her perspectives on key policy discussions, including energy, environmental and sustainability issues.

Cania believes that the foundation of welfare and progress is a society that embraces scientific, rational and empathetic thinking, supported by a government with competence and integrity.

Aidil Iman is a Youth Climate Activist and founder of Jejak Liar, with over eight years of experience in climate activism, biodiversity conservation and youth empowerment.

Specialising in environmental youth advocacy, he has worked with young Malaysians to lead citizen science programmes for biodiversity conservation and address the climate crisis through policy advocacy.

Known for his climate optimism, Aidil is passionate about empowering young people to drive positive policy change and advance nature-based solutions. He has contributed to policy publications on climate adaptation financing and urban forest protection, and recently contributed to Malaysia’s 7th National Report to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).

With a background in International Relations and Environmental Studies, Aidil is recognised for raising awareness of environmental issues and supporting youth communities in their advocacy efforts.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Perpetua “Pep” George is Nature Lead for PwC Malaysia, where she is a Director of Sustainability and Climate Change. She is a subject matter expert covering the palm oil sector, biodiversity, nature-based solutions and related sustainability disclosures. She has more than 20 years of experience in sustainability strategy development and implementation across the private sector and civil society. She is currently one of the leads within the secretariat team for the Palm Oil Collaboration Group.

Prior to joining PwC, she was Wilmar International’s General Manager for Group Sustainability, where she oversaw sustainability strategy implementation across the global operations of one of the world’s largest agribusiness and palm oil companies. She has previously served as co-chair of the RSPO’s Living Wage Task Force, Human Rights Working Group and Smallholder Support Fund.

Sander Happaerts is Green and Digital Counsellor at the EU Delegation to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam and the EU Mission to ASEAN. He is responsible for climate action, environment and the digital economy.

Between 2014 and 2024, Sander worked at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy. Among other responsibilities, he coordinated the Just Transition Fund, which invests EUR 19.7 billion in EU regions most affected by the transition to climate neutrality. He also worked extensively on sustainability issues in regional development and served as adviser to the Deputy Director-General.

Sander holds degrees in linguistics and international relations. He previously held positions at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium and at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the United Nations in New York.

Claire Prescott is Head of Sustainable Places at CDP, with over 18 years of experience in environmental and sustainability fields.

Specialising in landscape and jurisdictional approaches (LA/JA), she works across industries and stakeholder groups to normalise and scale their adoption. Her work includes contributing to the development of the Core Criteria for Credible Landscape and Jurisdictional Initiatives and advancing place-based approaches to address deforestation, biodiversity loss and climate resilience.

Having worked across different scales, from local environmental project delivery to global systems thinking, Claire is recognised for building effective multi-stakeholder partnerships that translate ambitious sustainability commitments into practical action. She is passionate about collective action to drive impact across resilient landscapes, sustainable commodity production, forest conservation, climate resilience and biodiversity.

With a background in wildlife conservation and environmental politics, Claire has contributed to international conferences, industry working groups and thought leadership on landscape and jurisdictional approaches.

Tessa Meulensteen is a Global Director at IDH Transforming Markets, with more than eight years of experience in the sustainable and inclusive transformation of global agricultural commodity markets.

Specialising in market transformation, responsible sourcing, sustainable supply chains and systems change, she has worked across cotton, cocoa, coffee and palm oil, collaborating with corporations, financial institutions, governments and other value-chain partners to explore solutions around responsible procurement, value and risk distribution, security of supply, investment and landscape approaches.

Known for her systems-change approach and ability to bring together diverse stakeholders to address underlying challenges across sectors, Tessa is passionate about creating sustainable change that improves incomes and livelihoods while delivering positive environmental outcomes.

She has also contributed as a speaker at events across sectors, including the Sustainable Palm Oil Dialogue, Swiss Coffee Trade Association Forum, Living Income/Living Wage Summit, and EUDR panels with Innovation Forum and the UN Global Compact, further establishing herself as a thought leader in the field.

Sander van den Ende is Group Sustainability Director at SIPEF, with more than 25 years of experience in sustainable forestry and tropical agriculture. He has been active within RSPO for 15 years, contributing to various standing committees and working groups, and has served on the Board of Governors for six years.

Throughout his career, Sander has worked across civil society and the private sector, including with WWF, The Nature Conservancy (TNC), New Britain Palm Oil and SIPEF. His experience spans responsible timber and palm oil production, including smallholder certification, across Latin America, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Indonesia and Vietnam. He has supported smallholders in accessing certification, markets and services, helped keep more than 30,000 smallholders collectively RSPO Certified, and coordinated a major independent New Planting Procedure for smallholders in a high-forest-cover country.

With a background in ecology and an MSc in Tropical Forestry, Sander champions market-based approaches to integrated climate, nature and development outcomes aligned with international sustainability goals.

Izzana Salleh is Secretary-General of the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries, with expertise spanning public policy, private-sector leadership and international development.

Specialising in strategic leadership and multilateral engagement, she has worked across government, business and civil society to advance sustainable development, food and energy security, human capital and inclusive growth. Known for building partnerships across sectors and geographies, Izzana is passionate about international cooperation, institution-building and women’s leadership.

With a background in public administration, business administration and biotechnology from Harvard University, Imperial College London and Cal Poly Pomona, she has been recognised among Malaysia’s Top 30 Women of Excellence. She also extends her leadership in women’s empowerment as Co-Founder and Global President of Girls For Girls International.

Joseph (JD) D’Cruz is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at RSPO, with over 20 years of experience in sustainable development. He also serves on the Board of ISEAL and as an independent non-executive director of Climate Governance Malaysia.

Previously, JD was an official of the United Nations, serving as Special Advisor for Strategic Planning and Innovation and a member of the Executive Group at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He led a team exploring the future of sustainable development globally, including establishing UNDP’s Accelerator Lab Network and leading the design and implementation of UNDP’s Strategic Plans.

JD started his career as a management consultant working on business strategy, feasibility analysis, privatisations, and sector strategies.

Mulya Amri, Ph.D. is Executive Director and co-founder of Kadin Indonesia Institute, the think tank and training arm of Kadin Indonesia (the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry). With over 20 years of experience in public policy and urban and regional development, he has worked with government agencies, global corporations and civil society across Indonesia, Southeast Asia and the United States.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Institut Teknologi Bandung, a Master's in Urban Planning from UCLA, and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at SBM ITB and was part of President Prabowo's Expert Board in 2023–2024, contributing to the government's Asta Cita missions and key programmes for 2024–2029.

Michael Schlup is the Chief Sustainability Officer and member of the Investment Committee at SAIL Investments, with over 26 years of experience in sustainability and asset management.

Specialising in sustainable supply chains and impact innovations, he has worked for Barry Callebaut, where he also managed the Cocoa Horizons Foundation. Prior to that, Michael worked at Bunge where he oversaw the firm's Africa business in regards asset management and environmental markets. Prior to joining Bunge, Michael was the founding CEO of the Gold Standard Foundation. He began his career in sustainable energy financing at the United Nations.
